riots kicking off here, riots kicking off there. i got an iphone from somewhere and have been tracking dad’s movements with flight tracker. it’s pretty easy, just multiply his birthday date with his age to get the flight number and key it in and away we go. then, when the vai needs some downtime i just download some games.

dave c recommended some online casino but i prefer rage. RAGE. its pretty much like cod but shotting mutants in a post-apocalyptic wasteland instead of people in a war. you have to kill mutants on a reality tv gameshow in the future. celebrity big brother would be so much better with this premise

so vai and his girlfriend brenda 35 were watching the news when brenda 35 started crying about her dead son so vai had to go somewhere else. i wanted to escape the world of lies and crap writing so i went online and started looking up the miners on the internet.

now then id heard about these people from dave c but i just assumed he was chattin cos he was on ched at the time, but dont you think this whole things smells a bit fishy on a dishy?

firstly, the name of the country is chile, which is the singular of this guy…

what does this mean? well what show does chiles present? daybreak. what did the miners want the most? ‘day’ and a ‘break’ from all the bloody being trapped! lastly, when did the young chinese man get stabbed by an older white man? next thursday!!!!

haha that last one was just a joke i got from brenda 35′s ex-husband callum which was weird to receive cos i dont give out my number but its good to know he likes to have a laugh.

anyway, back to the conspiracy. i think this lie has been created to stop people thinking about the coalition (what do miners mine? COALition, is it?). this is the most insulting conspiracy since the moon landings (how can a moon land?) and just as bad as when the government tried to hide danny glover.

i calmed down a bit and brenda 35 came up to play dynamite digger with me and i felt less tense afterwards.

mum still hasn’t been home yet but thats probably because dads friend kenny is looking after her in malaga. a very kind man and i like his ponytail.

this weekend is my friend’s birthday. gonna all get together and get totally slaughtered on ched and schloer. glad i’ve got the house to myself for that. i love msn video chat!!!

Combining life’s pleasures

It’s not often in life that you find something which combines two of your greatest loves. Take Gran Turismo for example; the perfect blend of perhaps my two favourite things – computer games and fast cars. Usually you’ve got to pursue all your interests separately, which is a lot more time consuming.

However I have recently found a new website that combines two of my big passions: online gambling and Sega games. The geniuses at Sega have launched an online casino site that lets you play a range of slots and table games based on classic Mega Drive, Saturn and Dreamcast titles. It is amazing. My favourites are the House of the Dead slots and the NIGHTS slots. The latter was one of my favourite titles from the ill-fated Saturn console, so much so that I even bought the recent Wii update just to relive the memories.

When I’m gambling online I don’t usually go in for Western games like blackjack or roulette, they are OK I suppose but I much prefer to play slots, Mahjong or other Asian casino games. Perhaps it’s my heritage but I’ve always had a fondness for Mahjong. I used to have a version on the PS2, it was basically one of the NTSC launch titles along with FantaVision (remember that?). The only thing was that without any proper reward, it got a bit boring (although could you say that about any game?). I much prefer to play it at an online casino where I can at least try to win some cash.

I mentioned Gran Turismo earlier in the post and fans of the Real Driving Simulator will know that the fifth full instalment is due this year. I am so excited about this. I have already played Prologue to death, tuned my Skyline to the point of it basically becoming undriveable and started to daydream about what hot new features will be in the full release – I am particularly interested in the Ferrari F1 car and how that class is used in the final game. Think how funny it would be to totally obliterate the field in the Sunday Driver’s league with Schumi’s old car!

I am going to do a full post about Gran Turismo 5 soon but in the meantime I will leave you with this video from E3. Enjoy…
